The PPD file selected from the list above is for the printer model shown here. (Also shown may be the specific printer memory capacity and PostScript version that this PPD was created to support.) To set up the printer driver using a generic PPD file (when no PPD file is listed for your specific printer model), click this button. Use this pop-up menu to open the Printer Descriptions folder in your System Folder. (The folder is in the Extensions folder, if you have System 7.) This folder contains the PostScript Printer Description (PPD) files used to set up a printer. Click the PPD file name that corresponds to your model of printer to select it, then click the Select button. If no file for your printer model is listed, click the Use Generic button to set up the printer as a generic printer. To see a list of items on your desktop, click this button. To see the contents of a different disk, click this button, then double-click the disk’s name in the window on the left. This button is not available because the current disk is not an ejectable disk. To eject the floppy disk currently accessed in the disk drive, click this button. This icon represents a disk on your desktop. Click here to see the contents of the folder or disk that contains the folder named to the left. To cancel your selection and close the dialog box, click this button. To confirm your selection and close the dialog box, click this button. Your printer driver will be set up to use the printing capabilities of the selected printer model.
